What We Did Last Summer (2005)

This summer I had the opportunity to travel with a group of 12 college students from the College of St. Benedicts/St. John's University, Minnesota, to Africa on a service-learning trip. The main mission was to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS and the African culture among the American students and also to offer some community service with the AIDS support organizations working in Africa. We visited Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya for over six weeks.
